Join guest speaker Callie Jennings for Pencils Down!
How do the stories we tell about death—like, say, the one in Chutes & Ladders—shape our choices and our world? How might justice ask us to shift our relationship to death?
Callie Jennings is a trans & queer musician, game designer, writer, and itinerant preacher. You can find her newsletter of recent work at threemachineexpression.substack.com, and chances are she’s dancing.
Music will be led by members of the Sanctuary Boston band. Sanctuary Boston is a community of vibrant worship and real connection, grounded in Unitarian Universalism and open to seekers of all kinds. Sanctuary is an all-ages community that centers the leadership and experiences of young adults. The band released an album earlier this year that you can find HERE (or pick up a physical copy after the service).
