Join us for our summer lay-led service with Aline Kaplan!
Have you ever driven past the little stone chapel in the woods west of Concord Road? Have you ever wondered who lived in the big white house on the hill next to it?
Today’s service will introduce you to Ralph Adams Cram, son of a Unitarian minister, who became a seminal architect, influential thinker, and prolific writer. He designed iconic buildings, appeared on the cover of Time magazine, wrote many books, and built St. Elizabeth’s chapel out of native stone.
Learn how the chapel was built, see inside the building, and discover who’s buried nearby.
