For most of us, the belief is that homelessness is faced by those in situations that we could not imagine ending up in. The reality is that many of the unhoused are our former neighbors, and they are no different from you or me. We will talk to you about the challenges facing the unhoused, our personal experiences, and how you can help to make a positive difference.
Skye and Emily are two juniors in high school who started their project, Opening Doors, two years ago and have been sharing this message at congregations across New England since then. They are excited to share their message with First Parish.
