Join us for our summer lay-led service: Conversation Circle: Your Role in the Gift Economy with Leslie Bryant.
The author Charles Eisenstein posits that before there was the development of “money,” even before there was a barter system, societies employed a circular gift economy to meet member’s needs. A gift need not be material. It is something we give or do without the expectation of a quid pro quo. We will discuss as a group how we continue gifting within our church community and within our larger secular community.
