Thank you to all who signed up to help us! We are all set with volunteers.
We will gather to make holiday gift bags for those incarcerated in Massachusetts. CPO provides the materials; we provide the compassion.
Each year, Concord Prison Outreach coordinates the distribution of holiday gift bags for people who are incarcerated in our state prisons. These packages—filled with toiletries and personal care items—offer a message of dignity, kindness, and human connection during a season that often feels very isolating.
Our congregation has participated in this project for over eight years. Last year we assembled more than 500 bags in a morning! And we had fun with each other as we did something so very meaningful for others. Won’t you join us this year?
We will gather to assemble the gift bags on Saturday, October 17, from 9:30-12:30 in the Parish Hall. The items are provided by Concord Prison Outreach; our role is to come together in community and help prepare them for distribution.
In challenging times, the spirit of love and solidarity brings light into the world. When we reach out to those who are isolated, we are reminded that our faith calls us to widen the circle again and again—until no one is left outside of it.
