Join a group of folks for a walk in the woods at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge. This
property is conveniently located off Hudson Road near the Stow/Sudbury town line
with ample parking. The walk starts at the Visitor’s Center and, depending on the
route taken, features views of the river, a wetlands area favored by blue herons, an
osprey nesting area, or WWII era storage bunkers. The paths are well-marked and
flat.
We will meet at the Visitor’s Center, which is off 680 Hudson Road in
Sudbury at 2 pm. Note that this is the second parking lot once you enter the
property.
We won’t go if the weather is inclement or the walking conditions are hazardous.
If in doubt, the cancellation announcement will be made the morning of
November 16 at the 10:00 am Worship Service.
