We were thrilled to launch our Voices of Democracy Speaker Series with “How Durable is U.S. Democracy?” on June 26, 2025, with a well-attended talk by Professor David A. Simon, Associate Professor of Law at Northeastern University School of Law.
Professor Simon discussed key issues raised in legal disputes over the breadth of executive power asserted by the President and how their resolution by the Supreme Court could affect federal agencies, the checks and balances built into the Constitution, and American democracy itself.
