Please join us for a springtime Walk in the Woods.
We will go to the Lyons Cutler Reservation again, but this time we will meet at the parking lot at Feeley Field on Raymond Rd. in Sudbury.
It is described by Sudbury Valley Trustees as follows: “A flat trail encircles forest on the south edge of wide wetlands along the banks of tributaries to the nearby Sudbury River.
This area at the confluence of Hop Brook and Allowance Brook has been home to generations of great blue herons, nesting atop standing dead trees in the wetlands.” It is a lovely shaded walk. The paths are well-marked and flat.
We will meet at the parking lot at 2 pm. With mapping software, search for this address: 210 Raymond Rd., Sudbury.
We won’t go if the weather is inclement or the walking conditions are hazardous. If in doubt, the cancellation announcement will be made the morning of April 13 at the 10:00 am Worship Service.
