October 1
We will begin our exploration of world religions by learning about Buddhism. We will look for similarities with our own Unitarian Universalist Faith. During Coffee Hour, we will host our first Religious Exploration for All Ages event. Everyone will have an opportunity to create a sand mandala and learn about this Buddhist tradition.

October 8
We will continue learning about the Buddhist faith as we take part in a creative arts project.

October 15
We will spend a final Sunday on the Buddhist faith as we explore meditation and then create a display for Coffee Hour
to teach others about this faith.

October 22
This week we will spend our time together planning our Trunk or Treat Activity.

October 29
We will decorate and set up for the Trunk or Treat Event! Students should please go directly to their RE program today.

Unitarian Universalist PrinciplesChildren’s Version

We believe that each and every person is important.
We believe that all people should be treated fairly and kindly.
We believe that we should accept one another and keep on learning together.
We believe that each person must be free to search for what is true and right in life.
We believe that all persons should have a vote about the things that concern them.
We believe in working for a peaceful, fair, and free world.
We believe in caring for our planet Earth, the home we share with all living things.
