Each September this community participates in a water “communion” which is a distinctly Unitarian Universalist gathering ritual. Members and friends each brought a small amount of water to the Homecoming service, which represented something significant about their summer. We gathered the water together during the service to celebrate the privilege we have of being together in a human community that seeks meaning and justice… which encourages personal growth and builds relationships too!
