May will be a month of service. Our children want to be in service to help animals and people so for the month of May we will focus on creating items to donate and sponsoring a collection drive.

May 7: We will make signs for our pet drive and dog cookies to donate to a local shelter.

May 14: We will make toys for animals in shelters and begin to learn about the needs of people who are without a home.

May 21: We will host a collection drive for pets and people during Coffee Hour.

May 28: Grade K-5: We will complete the chairs that we will gift to FPS to be used for visiting parents and young children.

Unitarian Universalist PrinciplesChildren’s Version

We believe that each and every person is important.
We believe that all people should be treated fairly and kindly.
We believe that we should accept one another and keep on learning together.
We believe that each person must be free to search for what is true and right in life.
We believe that all persons should have a vote about the things that concern them.
We believe in working for a peaceful, fair, and free world.
We believe in caring for our planet Earth, the home we share with all living things.
