January 8
We will greet the new year by having a holiday party as part of our RE program. We will play games from different holiday traditions, have some yummy holiday snacks, and celebrate our community!

January 15
We will discuss how service to others is a vital part of who we are as Unitarian Universalists. We will then continue with some of our ongoing service projects.

January 22
We will begin a multi-week exploration of our Unitarian Universalist faith as we use a fun, hands-on UU Curriculum called “Toolbox of Faith.” This curriculum encourages children to really think about their beliefs as they use common tools as a vehicle for discussion.

January 29
We continue using the curriculum “Toolbox of Faith” by exploring the concept of the need for questioning. The “Tool of the Week” is a magnifying glass.

Unitarian Universalist PrinciplesChildren’s Version

We believe that each and every person is important.
We believe that all people should be treated fairly and kindly.
We believe that we should accept one another and keep on learning together.
We believe that each person must be free to search for what is true and right in life.
We believe that all persons should have a vote about the things that concern them.
We believe in working for a peaceful, fair, and free world.
We believe in caring for our planet Earth, the home we share with all living things.
