Please Support Secret Santa!

After a one-year hiatus, Secret Santa has returned to First Parish. The holiday season can be especially difficult for children whose families are going through hard times. The impact of the pandemic has resulted in an increase in the number of families suffering and a decline in available resources. As in the past, we are working with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide holiday gifts to children in Metrowest. This year, more than thirty children will be the recipients of toys and clothing purchased by members and friends of FPS. And, new this year, you can sign up in-person at Sunday services or online. See the Weekly News for the sign-up link.

The children range in age from 1 month to 16 years. Their caregivers have suggested clothing and toys for each child, including sizes. If you sign up online, there will also be a link for online purchase of many of the items. We suggest at least one article of new clothing and one new toy for each child. Of course, you may buy gifts for more than one child, and the amount you spend is entirely up to you.

Once you have the gifts, please wrap them and put all gifts for each child together, either in a bag or tied with ribbon. Place the ID number and child’s name on the package, and bring it to FPS on Sunday, or leave in the Work Room at other times. If you need someone to pick up your gifts, please email us at .

The deadline for bringing gifts to FPS is 5 pm on Thursday, December 9.
Thank you for your generosity!
