Is it a bad thing to be considered an animal? Aren’t we all really animals when it comes to our base nature? Do animals communicate and if so, are they conscious beings, and do they have a soul? For that matter do humans have a soul and if so how and why can people be heartless at times? This Sunday we will create an alter, and it will be a time for blessing for “all” of the animals that we are at times and love dearly. Bring items that remind you of those non-humans loved ones who you have lost and would like to honor with an altar of remembrance for our past familiars. This service will be held inside (as well as via Zoom) and your “furry/feathery/scaley familiars,” as well as stuff animals, are welcome to join.
