Travel is a broadening experience that exposes us to new people, ideas, cultures, languages, cuisines, art, and architecture. Every day in a new place brings exciting things to see and do. Sometimes, however, travelers are privileged to experience something that transcends the guidebooks and “must-see” tourist attractions to become an extraordinary life memory.
In this presentation, Aline Kaplan shares with us several of the cultural and spiritual moments that stand out from her travels along with the people and places that formed very special memories. Aline will take us from an abbey in Tuscany to truffles in the Perigord, from Van Gogh’s Provençal hospital to the roof of Cologne Cathedral. Join us as Aline talks about her travels and the experiences that have a special place in her heart.
