To be sure, we have much for which we can be thankful during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend. However, the holiday also allows us to take stock of where we are as a nation. If we are honest, we will recognize that there is much in need of repair. Rabbi Robert Orkand will share his thoughts on what we might think about during a time of transition.
Rabbi Robert Orkand retired in 2013 as Rabbi of Temple Israel in Westport, CT, after 31 years of service. He and his wife, Joyce, moved to Natick to be near their son and his family. Rabbi Orkand has taught adults in a variety of settings since moving to the area.
