A Quick Summary

The FPS Service Auction is happening, and it will be awesome! We’re holding our yearly service auction online. The auction is accessible here and will run from 6 pm on Saturday, April 4 through 6 pm on Sunday, April 12th.

There will be a tutorial on navigating the on-line system and bidding on Saturday, April 4 at 10:30 am, held by Zoom meeting.

Other Questions

I’d prefer not to use the online auction system. Is there any other way to bid? 

The auction committee would be happy to set up an account and proxy bid for you on whatever items you designate. Simply send an email to and we’ll take care of the logistics for you.

When is the auction?

The auction starts on Saturday, April 4 at 6 p.m. It will be available on-line for a week, and will end on Sunday, April 12 at 6 pm.

Will there be a catalog? Can I see what items are listed ahead of time?

Yes, the auction is available for online viewing now. Just click on this link and check out all of the items. There is no printed catalog this year.

What’s the deal with the kick-off? Will that happen at First Parish?

The Kick-off Cocktail Party starts at 6 pm on April 4 and will be hosted by Steve Ziobrowski and Rob Kinslow. Click this link then to join in the fun! If you’ve never seen Steve and Rob in action together, trust us – you don’t want to miss this! We’ll have a chance to toast one another and celebrate our loving community while following social distancing policies. No one will be at FPS, as the building is closed at this time. Please don’t go there!

I’ve looked at the online auction, but I can’t figure out how to bid on anything. Why not?

Bidding will open at 6 pm sharp on Saturday, April 4. No bids will be accepted before then. 

I’ve heard that there won’t be any bidding against each other on events or parties. How will that work?

For any item where the quantity offered is greater than one, the purchase price is fixed (usually at what the item sold for last year).  If you want to buy that item, click on the “Buy Now” button and select the number of seats you will buy. That’s all there is to it! Be aware that seats are first come first served, so bid on events early to make sure you don’t miss out!

Is there going to be any bidding at all?

Sure! For all items with a quantity of one, we’ll bid against each other as we usually do. If you are outbid, you will receive an email letting you know, and inviting you to bid again.
