Help support First Parish of Sudbury’s Faith in Action group’s efforts to collect sunblock to be sent to Ghana.
The Ghana Association of Persons with Albinism (GAPA) is working to help the vulnerable population of people with albinism (complete or partial lack of pigment). These folks are at an increased risk of eye disorders and skin cancer.
Sunscreen is essential protection but is difficult and expensive to acquire in Ghana.
Please contribute New Unopened broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF greater than 30 with an expiration date of 2020 or later.
Bring to FPS any Sunday from May 12 through June 9 and put in the bag in the Parish Hall (the bag will be there on Sundays).
