In this classic read, a poor boy named Pip is invited into the friendship of a lonely girl of wealthy means from whom he is cut off when they become teenagers. He learns that he has an anonymous benefactor and wealth of his own beyond his imagination. Pip’s search for how to fit into a world of wealth, for the love he lost, his search for who he has become, and for the benefactor who made it all possible makes for page-turning reading.
