Rummage Sale April 13, 9:30am-1:30pm

Saturday, April 13—from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Plan to come and pay $5 for a paper grocery bag which you can fill up with just about anything you can find! And, when you fill that up,  you can buy another $5 bag. Tell friends and family. Proceeds fill the Alliance coffers which then are used for philanthropic projects outside of FPS and within.

What we need from you ALL is your no longer wanted, GENTLY used clothing and household items. Children’s clothes are especially in demand. “Household goods” includes toys, craft supplies, office goods, linens, kitchenware, puzzles, books, CD’s—but not magazines, Blu-Ray or VHS tapes, classical vinyl records, electronics, anything that doesn’t work, furniture, or most items that would not fit in a regular paper shopping bag. (We make a few exceptions like king-sized comforters that we sell separately.) Dirty, ripped or water-damaged items (e.g. moldy stuff) should go into your trash, not ours.

Donations of treasures may be brought in to the church’s south-facing vestibule starting from Sunday, April 6 through Thursday evening. Please try to get everything to us by Thursday evening. We use Friday to finish sorting. And be sure to stop by during the sale even if you’re not working it! I have picked up many a useful item there myself over the years. – Peg, the Rummage Queen.
