“Say Their Names” during our worship services in February

Say Their Names is a series of observances in memory of people-of-color killed in acts of racial terror. The observances will begin on February 3 and continue throughout Black History Month. Each week during the worship service, we will read names of those whose lives were taken by lynching, police shootings, and other acts of violence. The observances are part of a collaboration between racial justice groups in Unitarian Universalist churches in Concord, Stow-Acton, and Sudbury, led by the Maynard Anti-Racism Alliance (MARA).

Watch for an email communication from Sheila Murphy this week with more information about Say Their Names as part of Milestones in our Sunday services Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24.
