Middlesex Senior Cohousing, a group of 12 households in Metro Northwest Boston, will hold an introductory meeting on Saturday, January 26, from 2 – 4:30 pm in Fellowship Hall at FPC Stow/Acton. MSC is seeking to build New England’s first senior cohousing neighborhood in the Maynard/Acton area and is growing its membership.

The program features a slideshow, short video, and Q&A. There will be a refreshment break followed by facilitated small break-out groups to talk about the challenges of aging in place and in community.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about this innovative model that started in Denmark in the 1960s and operates on the understanding that community is the best insurance for getting the nurturing care we need as we age. And for living a fun and fulfilling 3rd Act!
