The Board of Trustees met on December 5, 2018. Rev. Matty reported that the Pastoral Associates Group, the Worship Associates Group, and the Board will support one another during her sabbatical. Chad Trexler reported that the kickoff for the strategic planning process is planned for sometime in the next two weeks. The final planning is scheduled for March. Mark Trone provided the Board a draft template for the committee goals as requested by the council members. The Board emphasized that the goals for the Board filter down to the committee goals. Deborah Kruskal reported that the design for a sign near the street with removable panels is in process. She also reported that we are waiting for an update on the bids for the kitchen. Dave Andrews reported that he, Aline, and Jim Gish will be monitoring the solar bills for anomalies. The question is whether we are using more energy or are costs going up. The Board discussed the question of storage and whether all items being stored are still needed. The next Board meeting will be January 9 instead of January 2.
