Our next regular potluck and meeting will take place on Thursday, October 11 starting at 6:30 in the Commons. The subject of this meeting is books that we have read recently which we have found particularly interesting. The last time we had this type of meeting it resulted in lively discussion. Newcomers and old-timers alike are very welcome to attend, and any contribution of food or drink, purchased or home-made, is welcome. (Or none, if you are terribly busy) (And if you can’t think of a book you want to discuss, come anyway! Listeners are always appreciated.)
Saturday, November 10 is the new date for our one-day retreat at the Harvard U.U. Church. Carole McNamee will be facilitating the retreat, which will be on the subject of Compassionate Listening. Information on registration will be forthcoming later.
Our Holiday Party is now scheduled for December 9, time to be announced later. Elaine Jones has graciously agreed to host. Traditionally delicious party features potluck hors d’oevres and desserts ONLY.
