Thanks to everyone who has stepped up to help with the new Harvest Fair! We will have a bouncy house and children’s games and prizes, plenty of baked goods, kettle corn, two community art projects, music and dance performances outside and of course our famous soup kitchen! The Silent Auction is still being developed and needs your help this coming week!
Please look for an email this week with ideas and a “shopping list”.
Most importantly, please put October 13th, and perhaps Friday October 12th, on your “radar”. We will especially need help guiding children to participate in games, but we also need an hour or so of your time selling goods at the baked table, assisting with the Silent Auction bidding, and of course, clean-up after 3PM!
Everyone is invited to the Harvest Fair Coordination meeting which has been moved to Wednesday, October 3rd, from 4 to 6:30pm. At this meeting we will plan out where and when each event will take place, so be sure there is somebody from your team there! If you have been unsure about where to put your energy, come to this meeting to find out what needs to be done in just 10 days before the Fair!
Thanks, everyone. This is going to be FUN! 🙂
