The Racial Justice Book Group meets in the Brackett Room at 7PM on the last Tuesday of every month. Everyone at First Parish is enthusiastically invited to join us–come occasionally or regularly, as your schedule allows.
We read a book – or a section of a book – dealing with racism every month. When we meet, we discuss a series of questions that address the specific topic of the book and we engage in a conversation about the role of race and racism in our own lives, in our families, and in our communities.
On September 25th we will be discussing The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander. Please join us!
