We will welcome Rev. Dr. Kelly Murphy Mason to our pulpit on Sunday, February 11 at 10:00am. She writes of her sermon “Together we will consider what makes our Unitarian Universalist community a deeply religious one. Our liberal tradition calls on us to congregate, much as Unitarians have done for centuries now, and it calls us on to still greater love today. How we respond to those calls makes all the difference in the life of our faith.”
The Rev. Dr. Kelly Murphy Mason is Community Minister at the First Unitarian Congregational Society in Brooklyn, NY. She also teaches Denominational Studies at Union Theological Seminary, where she previously worked as Pastoral Counselor on staff. For the past several years, she has blogged at TheReverendDr.com: What Heals Us in Our Souls.
