Revels Service with singing, dancing, and waking up the sun!

Join the congregation of First Parish of Sudbury Unitarian Universalist for their annual Revels service, featuring Morris Dancing, music and a traditional Mummer’s Play. This Revels service is similar to the Christmas Revels service that takes place in Cambridge. This year marks the 28th annual Revels service at First Parish of Sudbury!
Revels is a Winter Solstice celebration intended to “wake up the sun” after the shortest day of the year. The Revels service will feature the Hop Brook Morris Dance group and a Sword Dance group Pocket Flyers, both led by Tom Kruskal. The congregation will sing songs and carols and enjoy readings and short traditional plays based on Celtic legend and song.
