This time of the year is described in Judaism as one for serious introspection, a time to consider the previous year and repent. Among the customs of this time, it is common to seek reconciliation with people you may have wronged during the course of the year or longer. October’s theme at First Parish is forgiveness and healing. We will begin by considering the importance and magic held within the Days of Awe and Rosh Hashanah. Rev Dr. Marjorie Matty will consider the miraculous that we are presented with if we remain open-hearted and open-minded to all that comes.
