The topic for this month’s salon is Gratitude.
The quotation says it well “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life…” so true and so universally espoused by wise people throughout time. Still as Mark Twain said “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” Is gratitude all it’s cracked up to be? Consider this article if you dare: The Downside of Gratitude.
What exactly is gratitude? Thankfulness plus looking on the bright side plus expressing thanks to others plus …? Come and share your ideas as we dialogue about gratitude and and related thoughts we individually and collectively bring to our circle.
The Religious Exploration Salon is a group that meets 3rd Sundays to discuss various topics in the format called Bohm Dialogue.
For more details about how Dialogue works, please see our January article.
Everyone is welcome. You are welcome to think about the topic beforehand but no preparation is required or expected — come as you are with whatever thoughts/intuitions you have, ready to listen, learn and contribute. We meet Sunday Dec. 20th at 7pm in the Brackett Room.
