~ Helga Andrews' memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m. at First Parish of Sudbury. All are welcome.

Sunday, June 7 worship service: Endings and Beginnings...

Within each ending a new beginning is born, thus life is a series of transitions. How can we live a life gracefully in the midst of constant evolution? Rev. Dr. Marjorie Matty will endeavor to imagine such a practice of living with impermanence. As part of our worship this Sunday the congregation will engage in honoring our graduate from High School who will be transitioning toward Young Adulthood. The members of First Parish will be participating in our Annual Meeting, beginning at 11:30ish, a tradition since the inception of congregational polity and New England Congregationalism. All are welcome to attend and participate, however, only members can vote.

UU Camps and Conference Centers Great for your summer vacations!

Are you still planning your vacation time for this summer? Whether you are single, a couple, a family, or looking for "meaningful fun" for your kids, UU Camps are great fun.

We have four camps/conference centers in the New England/New York area:

• Rowe Camp, in Rowe MA (2 1/4 hours from Sudbury) with lake swimming, click here: Rowe Camp

• Ferry Beach on the coast near Saco Maine (2 1/4 hours from Sudbury) click here: Ferry Beach

• Star Island on the Isle of Shoals, NH (1 3/4 plus boat ride from Sudbury) click here:  Star Island

• Unirondack Camp (5 1/4 hours in the Adirondacks) click here: Unirondack

All are great, and all have their unique characteristics. Robyn Ralli who grew up at FPS and has worked many summers at Rowe will be a counselor at Rowe Camp for jr high camp, young peoples camp (ages 8-11), senior high camp, plus a new camp "Skill Set" for ~20-24 year old Young Adults. She would love to have some friends from FPS come this summer. All camps have sliding fees based on income.

And, let's not leave out the adults! All of these have programs and "camps" for adults throughout the summer and year. Immerse yourself in UU fun!

Thank you, Sherri!

Many thanks to Sherri Cline who donated the beautiful new-to-us furniture in the FPS library. She checked with us in advance to be sure it was something we wanted, and arranged to have it delivered. The library still has a ways to go, but it is much more attractively decorated now. Thank you, Sherri!
