We had an exciting year in the Religious Exploration program! Many thanks to all of our amazing students, families, and volunteers for making our classes and events so special!
Throughout the fall and winter months, we met at FPS each Sunday for RE classes focused on UU Identity, the Seven Promises, and social and environmental justice. We enjoyed monthly children’s choir classes, and our Junior Youth Group met monthly to engage in a variety of community service and social action projects with our Youth Coordinator. Our older youth enjoyed participating in the OWL program with youth from other local UU congregations.
In March, we transitioned to an online RE program for the safety of our students, and we continued to stay connected to one another through weekly family RE lessons and virtual worship circle meetings.
We will miss all of our students and families this summer, and we look forward to reconnecting in September, when we will begin a new year of learning and exploring together! We wish you all a safe, happy, and healthy summer!
