Spirit Play will be learning about the very important 7th principle of our faith: the interconnection of all life and the importance of valuing our Earth. The story will be the Great Kapok tree — a story of speaking truth to power and standing on the side of love as the animals of the rain forest stand up for the Great Kapok tree and prevent it from being chopped down.

UU Explorers will continue to explore what it means to be committed to dwelling in peace. They will look deeper into the work of Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as Henry David Thoreau’s famous essay on “Civil Disobedience”. Participants will explore ways they might act on the examples of Thoreau, Gandhi, and King, and join together in teams to practice speaking up against injustice.

Breakfast Club will meet in the library.

Nursery Care will be provided.
