It’s Almost Here–Auction April 2, 6pm

auction 2016 logoBy now you’ve read that the Spring Auction is THE social event of the year. You’ve heard about the great items, gift certificates and services you can bid on. You know that the fun continues all year with dinners and parties. You’ve thought of something fun to donate to the auction and filled out the form at Auction Donation Form (or you picked up a manual form). You know that the auction will be even better this year with the addition of a reverse auction. Hopefully you’ve even thought of some service that would make your life easier and emailed it to . Perhaps you’ve even volunteered at Auction Volunteer Form. Your calendar is marked, you’ve told the kids there will be pizza and a movie.

With all that information, we think we might have forgotten to tell you the best part! Yes, the Spring Auction is all the things you’ve just read – and it’s our largest fundraiser of the year. But what makes the auction really special is that it’s a wonderful community event at First Parish. It’s a fun evening – no committee assignments – where you can socialize with friends, meet folks you don’t know, enjoy food and drink together, and feel a part of the special community that is First Parish. And, while you’re bidding, you’ll get to know who bakes great bread, who cooks a yummy dinner, who throws fabulous pool parties, who is an amazing artist, and so much more. The answers to these mysteries is at the Auction!

Donations may be made until Friday, March 25th. Reverse auction items may be submitted right until the start of the auction. (If you’re donating a physical item, please drop it at church between 1-4 PM on the day of the Auction. If that isn’t possible, email and we’ll make arrangements.)

The evening will begin at 6:00 with appetizers, wine, beer, and soft drinks while we peruse and bid on silent auction items – including the reverse auction. A buffet supper will be served and then we’ll move into the lively verbal auction!

Auction tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
