Your Auction Checklist

auction 2016 logoThe First Parish Spring Auction will be here in just over five weeks! Wondering how to participate? Here’s checklist to help make sure you won’t miss any part of the fun!

  1. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 2nd, at 6:00 PM.
  2. Figure out what fabulous items you want to donate (see below for ideas).
  3. Submit your donation form on line at: https://fpsudbury.org/auction-donation-form/or fill out manual form (available in the church office).
  1. Decide if you would like to volunteer to help with the auction.
  2. Sign up at Auction Volunteer.
  3. Attend the Auction, enjoy the food and beverages, bid on lots of items, and have a great time!
  4. Continue the fun all year as you enjoy the items you won!

What Shall I Donate To The Auction?

Some of the best items are those donated by First Parish members and friends! Wondering what to donate this year? The possibilities are endless: pool parties, cookouts, and dinners are always a hit and they keep the fun going throughout the year. Maybe you’d like to host an election night get together in November or perhaps a Super Bowl party next February. Do you knit, sew, or garden? Maybe you’re a computer whiz? Or have some other skill or hobby that you’d like to share. And don’t forget to ask some of your favorite merchants to donate a gift certificate.

What About Volunteering?

While the Auction is THE social event of the year, getting ready for it and helping out the night-of are also fun and a great way to get to know folks. The Auction Team needs help with making phone calls, setting up during the day on Saturday, helping serve food, and bringing the Parish Hall back to normal after the Auction ends.

What Else Is Important To Know?

The evening will begin at 6:00 with appetizers, wine, beer, and soft drinks while we peruse and bid on silent auction items. A buffet supper will be served and then we’ll move into the lively verbal auction!

There will be childcare with pizza and a program for the kids.

Auction tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
