2009-2010 Schedule for our UU Travelers=

This small group offers our 10 to 12-year-olds the freedom to travel around our world and explore how other traditions can meaningfully enhance our own UU faith. This year, we will be exploring our seven UU principles as they may be inspired by our six UU sources.

                             Meeting characters of compassion this Halloween

November 1, 2009: Intergenerational Celebrating our Harvest Worship Service

November 8, 2009: Principle of equality and kindness as inspired by source of mystery and wonder
                               Tall tales and super stories that inspire kindness and sharing

November 15, 2009: Principle of equality and kindness as inspired by source of science and reasoning
                                Experiments in Fairness

November 22, 2009: Principle of coming together as inspired by source of mystery and wonder
                                 Celebrating our connection to others ~ families and traditions

November 29, 2009: Special Social Justice Sunday ~ Community Service Project ~ all kids together

December 6, 2009: Intergenerational Revels Service

December 13, 2009: Principle of coming together as inspired by source of inspiring people
                                 Freedom to be UU ~ the best gift

December 20, 2009:    Special Sunday ~ Winter Holiday Celebration ~ all kids together

December 29, 2009: shared worship and RE with Wayland & Framingham (not in Sudbury)

                     Honoring our AWEsome relationship with nature

                       Appreciating and taking care of our home

May 23, 2010: Principle of saving the earth in action ~ special project

May 30, 2010: Special Sunday ~ “Favorites and Leftovers” (Memorial Day weekend)
