Last Sunday Spirit Play heard the story of the Great Kapok tree — a story of speaking truth to power and standing on the side of love as the animals of the rain forest stand up for the Great Kapok tree and prevent it from being chopped down. This Sunday they will look through another lens at our very important 7th principle: the interconnection of all life and the importance of valuing our Earth.
UU Explorers will move this Sunday into a new series of lessons called the Toolbox of Faith, which invites participants to reflect on the qualities of our Unitarian Universalist faith, such as integrity, courage, and love, as tools they can use in living their lives and building their own faith. Each of the sessions uses a tool as a metaphor for an important quality of our faith such as reflection (symbolized by a mirror), flexibility (duct tape), and justice (a flashlight).
Breakfast Club will meet in the library.
Nursery Care will be provided.
