Religious Education October 23rd

soup-kitchenThis Sunday Spirit Play will hear the Green Promise Story, which is based on the fourth UU principle about growing from exploring what is true and right in life. The story is about a boy named Ping who loved flowers, who lived a long time ago in China. He told the truth to the Emperor when it was hard to do so, though no one else would.

Our UU Explorers will be learning about Unitarian Universalism’s long commitment of service to those in need through the story of Joseph Tuckerman (1778-1840), Unitarian Universalism’s first community minister and widely considered to be the founder of social work in the United States.

Breakfast Club will meet in the library.

Nursery Care will be provided.
