Creation stories, mythology or historical fact, religious history is a conglomeration of uncertainties that feed contemporary beliefs. As Unitarian Universalists it is important to understanding where our roots spring from and how we have evolved into the community that we have become. The inclusive values of Unitarian Universalism seem to be the answer for the contemporary issues that we face but without knowing our history and our evolution it is difficult to understand the sincerity of our intentions. Rev. Dr. Marjorie Matty will share our story pre Unitarian Universalism and the journey that our forbearers ventured on and how we have ultimatly arrived at this place of open acceptance.
