The Spirit Play class has been very excited about comparing all the creation stories they have learned, from Abrahamic faiths to Africa. Still to explore: India, and a Romanian creation story.

Sing to the Power carved soap last week as we cultivated and thought about the quality of persistence. What types of goals and dreams require the most persistence in your life? What keeps you going? This week, we will look at water’s quality of gathering together and think about how we might employ that quality in our own creative endeavors.

The Breakfast Club explored the dangers of a life without quiet and inner listening. They talked about the fact that Harry Houdini could never be satisfied, and he had to keep challenging himself in dangerous ways.  Perhaps he died because he could not listen to his inner quiet, he was not at peace with himself, and he didn’t really know himself. Regardless, it is an important lesson for us all to consider if we are taking the time in quiet to listen to and converse with ourselves?

Nursery Care will be provided this Sunday. We will need a volunteer, however, to offer nursery care with Katie on May 22nd. Contact Chris at if you are available. Thanks!
