No Religious Education February 14th

Due to the cold weather warnings for February 14th, we will not be having RE tomorrow.

Our worship service will take place tomorrow–in the cozy warm Commons–perfect for Valentine’s Day and the sermon titled All Kinds of Love. It is reported that the temp in the sanctuary will not get out of the 50s in tomorrow’s cold snap, so the decision was made for us to move to where it’s warm!

Our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our congregants, both in their comfort during the service and avoiding frostbite walking from the town hall parking lot in the forecasted sub-zero temperatures.

The choir will not be singing tomorrow, but there will be music, thanks to our intrepid music director, Debra, and a full worship service thanks to our intrepid minister, Rev. Marjorie. (You won’t want to miss the chocolate communion during the service!)

Religious Education will not take place tomorrow.

If you are scheduled to usher, greet, or help in another way, we want you to do what is best for you. We will be fine with whoever comes. We are hardy New Englanders, right?

The unBirthday Party offered by Community and Hospitality Committee will take place after worship, also in the Commons, so if you are bringing a cake, come ahead if you can. If not, it will be fine anyway!

We urge you to use your best judgment about venturing out tomorrow and stay warm!
