Women’s Alliance meeting Monday, Feb. 8 6:30pm

The next meeting of the Women’s Alliance of Firwomen meetingst Parish is Monday, February 8 in the Commons, starting as close to 6:30 pm as you can make it.

In addition to our potluck supper and socializing, we will have a presentation by Lulu Cash, a First Parish member, who will present the communication system she designed for professional and personal use here and abroad. As she tells her international audiences, it is not only an American system but a human system, from which many can glean nuggets.

Lulu was for many years a professor at Emmanuel College, which awarded her the degree of Doctor of Humane Letters.  She is the founder of the Louise Cash Institute for Leadership in Communication. Before that, she had an extensive international career in music and theater.  She and her late husband, Phil Cash, have had three sons, ree daughters-in-law and eight grandchildren.
Please do not fret about your contribution to the potluck.  Anything to eat or drink, purchased or created by you, is welcome, and if you’re too rushed, come anyway.  There is always enough to eat. Our last meeting, on January 8, featured two engaging and knowledgeable presenters on the intentional communities which fall under the rubric “co-housing.” The food was excellent and plentiful, as was the discussion.
Mark your calendars ahead for our March 8 meeting which will feature a presentation by Alorie Parkhill.
