114th Harvest Craft Fair, Indoor/Outdoor in Sudbury Center

Harvest Craft Fair Sign

The 114th Annual Harvest Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. This event is a fundraiser for First Parish of Sudbury, at 327 Concord Road, Sudbury Center. Admission is $3.00, children under 12 free.

As long as anyone can remember, indeed, for over 100 years, First Parish has held an annual Harvest Fair. Fifty years ago, this event would reflect the hand-work of the women of the parish: hand-sewn aprons and holiday ornaments, hand-cut donuts and steaming apple pie. The parish kitchen still provides a wonderful selection of homemade soups and bread for lunch, coffee and hot chocolate, and there will be plenty of baked goods for sale, but the Fair has evolved over the years into a juried arts and crafts show and sale, offering a wide variety of handmade items.

This year, over 50 talented artisans from Massachusetts and neighboring states, are offering their work for sale. You will find unique handmade gifts including fine jewelry, pottery, handwoven baskets, stained glass, handwoven alpaca and fibre art scarves, handmade wooden dolls, beaded and wired jewelry, hand-sewn bags and accessories, folk art, fairy art, unique watercolors, hand-knitted hats, quilted items, original prints and cards, photography, hand-dyed silk scarves, pet beds and coats, goat milk soap, and more! Hourly raffles are a great way to win a selection of these artisans’ works. All are welcome to attend!
