Sudbury Listening Project

Listen (1)The Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program (HNMCP) is seeking to engage Sudbury residents in a listening project. The Sudbury Clergy Association has invited HNMCP as a neutral, outside party to gain a better sense of the challenges Sudbury faces, as well as to identify opportunities to help the town moving forward. Whether you have been actively engaged in town matters or not, we invite all members of the Sudbury community to share their thoughts and experiences with us by signing up to participate in a Community Focus Group and/or completing our survey.

As part of an initiative aimed at diagnosing the political divisiveness in town, a Harvard program will be holding a series of focus groups in Sudbury in the coming weeks. The Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program has also created a survey that residents can fill out until March 23.

Concerned about the political infighting in town in recent years, the Sudbury Clergy Association invited the Harvard program to help lead the “Sudbury Listening Project,” the purpose of which is to “gain a better sense of the challenges Sudbury faces, as well as to identify opportunities to help the town moving forward,” representatives for the program said in a press release.

The community focus groups will be held March 6, 7, 13, and 14; residents can sign up by visiting  http://tinyurl.com/qf5vzqt. The survey is also available online at  http://tinyurl.com/oghp32v.
